Krispy Kreme closed this 40-something shop for the last time this weekend. The Pensacola icon will be torn down and a new store will be built in it's place. Krispy Kreme says it will be an improvement. Local opinions seem to be going about 9 to 1 against that idea. At any rate, we won't be getting any hot Krispy Kremes for the next four months. That part will be the hardest to take.
