 Here's a wide view of that car show on Palafox Street a couple of weekends ago. It really brought life to an otherwise dead stretch of street on a Saturday morning. The city has been sponsoring several new events like this lately including a farmer's market, concerts and movies alfresco at Palafox Pier. It's pretty cool and I hope there's more to come. On a related cruising note, a funny thing happened at the drive-thru the other day. Anna and I were having a craving for little, square burgers so we stopped by our local Krystal. Though yummy, the burgers are really small, so we decided to get a 12 sandwich sackful. I like cheese on mine and Anna likes them plain, so when the girl asked if I wanted cheese I replied, 'half with cheese, and half without.' To which she replied, and I'm not making this up, 'Which half?' If I were Bill Engvall, I would have said, 'Here's your sign.' I hope she enjoys her long career at the Krystal drive-thru. | |
